Resolution for the Creation of the “International Commission for Ayurvedic Phytotherapy and Maharishi AyurVeda for its Promotion in Different Countries
- Considering that Ayurvedic Medicine has been taking care of the health of approximately 20% of the world population for more than 100 years;
- Considering that Ayurvedic Medicine is recommended by the World Health Organization;
- Considering the need to inform the medical community and general population about effective procedures for the prevention and promotion of health;
- Considering the need to inform the medical community about effective procedures for the treatment of health with less harmful side effects;
- Considering that Ayurvedic Medicine has been analysed and reformulated by the western scientists and medical doctors of the Maharishi European Research University during the last 40 years, in the sense of identifying its purest and most effective values, as well as to re-enliven the forgotten aspects of the tradition, giving rise to the Maharishi AyurVeda, the most effective formulation of Ayurveda, which includes the approach of consciousness and meditation, with excellent results in the areas of prevention, promotion and treatment of health;
- Considering the existence of interest, and different activities going on in several countries, in this area of knowledge and the need to coordinate to intensify, create a momentum, and improve its results in the health of the population.
The below signatories resolve to create the “INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION FOR AYURVEDIC PHYTOTHERAPY AND MAHARISHI AYURVEDA”, with public and private participation, which functions, among others, include:
- General planning of action;
- To harmonize programs and activities;
- To promote the assignment of resources;
- To promote the development of studies and constant improvement aiming at increasing the efficiency;
- To coordinate and invigorate the actions;
